Legacy of John R. 1913-1993
Our 12 step retreats began for Alcoholics Anonymous & Al-Anon in 1972, founded by Mae and John Ratner, pioneers of the recovery retreat movement. John felt that combining AA/Al-Anons would help recovering families transistion through recovery. The Ratner Fellowship grew from these retreats over the last 42 years.
The retreats continue today with focus on the 12 steps through talks by retreat leaders, group meetings and one-on-one exchanges.
The sharing of experience, strength, and hope
is a universal language.
